Delhi is divided into two parts—Old Delhi and New Delhi. Of them Old Delhi, built in the 17th century by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, which is crammed with narrow streets that surround the Red Fort's imposing walls. This area is well known for the architectural beauty of the Mughal Empire.
